2025 AYFL FALL TACKLE REGISTRATION WILL OPEN IN SPRING 2025!

If you are interested in a future AYFL fall tackle season, create an account on our website so you will be added to our email list!

2025 REGISTRATION FEES

A8-League (8th grade) - $359

A7-League (7th grade) - $359

B-League (5-6th grade) - $359

C-League (3-4th grade) - $299

D-League (K-2nd grade) - $199

Register between March 20th and April 1st, 2025 at 11:59PM EST and get  $25-off A8, A7, and B-League registration!

What do registration fees cover?

Fall tackle football divisions are based on grade during the 2025-2026 school year. Players can always play up (e.g., 7th grader in A8-League) but can never play down (e.g., 3rd grader in D-League). 

All parents will be asked to provide proof of child's grade upon registration.

Children who will be attending high school are not eligible to participate.


What do the registration fees go toward?

  • The Loudoun County field individual usage fee.

  • Custodial fees for HS turf fields (not incurred by other leagues).

  • Insurance for each player

  • Custom AYFL game jerseys with sublimated logo per team that is kept by each player at the end of the season (i.e., not offered/included by other leagues)

  • Football pants with integrated 7-piece pad sets that are kept by each player at end of the season (i.e., not offered/included by other leagues).

  • Equipment rental (helmets and shoulder pads) and coaches' equipment/training modules/background checks

  • $125 Non-volunteer fee is not included (volunteering to be a coach, team parent, board volunteer, assistant coach, or volunteering for team tasks by November 15th, 2024 will waive this fee).

WHAT TO DO BEFORE THE SEASON STARTS

  1. Purchase rubber cleats, a mouth piece, protective cup (optional) and practice football pants
  2. Turn in a physical form dated after January 1st, 2025 signed by your child's physician to safety@ayfl.org, or at the AYFL Combines. The VHSL or physician-provided physical forms are accepted. You can find a printable AYFL Physical form here
  3. All players (A, B, & C-League) must attend ONE AYFL Combine in June or July (dates will be announced soon). If there is a conflict, please email president@ayfl.org
  4. We will have equipment pick-up (helmets, shoulder pads, and game pants) in late July. Jerseys will be provided by the coach at practice. 

PRACTICE SCHEDULE

Practice schedules are determined by the coach your child is drafted to. This will be provided to you after the AYFL Draft on July 21st. 

AT MAXIMUM, you can expect

  • July 28th, 2025 to August 20th, 2025 - 5 days per week at 2 hours each
  • August 21st, 2025 (first day of LCPS) to November 2nd, 2025 - 3 days per week at 1.5 hours each
  • November 3rd, 2025 (daylight's saving time) to November 16th, 2025 (championship games) - 2 days per week at 1 hour each

Younger leagues (B, C, & D-League) tend to practice less than the maximum. Older leagues (A7 & A8-League) tend to practice the maximum amount.

Game schedules will be announced after practices start (July 28th, 2025)
